February 25 – This month in 1927, a conversation between San Francisco
and London set a long-distance telephone record. Call a faraway relative.
Just think how far a telephone conversation has come since 1927. One
can Skype from San Francisco and London and see each other. This reminds me of
the cartoon series The Jetsons, to be able to view each other on our TV’s and
carry on conversations.
