May 2 – Maybe your ancestor isn’t on US passenger lists because he came via Canada. See the August 2004 Family Tree Magazine for on border-crossing records called St. Albans Lists.

Today would have been my mother’s 85^th birthday. She has been gone for 10 years and I still miss her every day. I wish I could share my genealogy finds with her or pick her brain for some little bits of information. I guess my conversations will only be through my dreams. Happy Birthday Mom, I hope you are looking down on all your descendants and are smiling.
