Since my filing system is sorted by family groups, and I
don’t have many funeral cards, I just keep them in the proper family group
folder. Also, I have scanned many of the obituaries or saved them in digital
form via the internet and file them in a folder labeled, “obituaries”. I give
the file the name of the deceased person along with the year they died. The
year helps in case I have multiple people with the same name then I know which
one to look at.
